    • First Week Newsletter September 5, 2014Dear Rowe School Families, WOW, what a wonderful week we had!  The children did amazingly well learning routines and settling into a new school year.  The children are settling into routines, and the school is buzzing with their energy and enthusiasm for learning. “I love school,” is a phrase I have heard many times.  What a fun and delightful age this is!  Parents, you deserve praise for the fabulous job you are doing.  I have noticed: quick good-byes – the children do much better when you say a quick good-bye and then leave healthy snacks and lunches labeled sandwich bags for a butter sandwich (almond, sun, etc) - eliminates the guess work when we check snacks and ...

    • August Welcome Letter Dear Parents, We hope this finds you well and enjoying a beautiful summer. The custodial staff has been doing a tremendous job cleaning the building.  It will be sparkling clean when we greet your children on Tuesday, September 2.  We have been busy preparing for the school year.  In addition to individual classroom work, groups of teachers have worked together throughout the summer to plan lessons and create materials. This impressive work demonstrates the dedication our staff has to improving the learning of all children.     You are invited to a Parent/Student Orientation on Thursday, August 28.     • End of May Newsletter May 30, 2014 Dear Families, It is hard to believe the month of May is almost over.  This week was Safety Week at Rowe. On Tuesday, we had a Community Meeting hosted by Mrs. Bradford’s and Mrs. Caron’s classes. Special guests Lieutenant Dean Perry from the YPD and Fire Chief Michael Robitaille briefly shared how they keep the children of Yarmouth safe each and every day. The children drew and wrote about ways to be safe at school and in the community, as well as about people who keep them safe in school and in the community.
