    • End of May Newsletter May 30, 2014 Dear Families, It is hard to believe the month of May is almost over.  This week was Safety Week at Rowe. On Tuesday, we had a Community Meeting hosted by Mrs. Bradford’s and Mrs. Caron’s classes. Special guests Lieutenant Dean Perry from the YPD and Fire Chief Michael Robitaille briefly shared how they keep the children of Yarmouth safe each and every day. Though it is exciting to meet incoming parents and children, it is bittersweet to think of saying good-bye to our first graders; we ...

Everyone wore Dr. Seuss hats while reading Dr. Seuss books. It was a fun, engaging way to honor one of our favorite authors.  Speaking of authors, one of our favorite Maine authors spent the day at Rowe on March 20. Thanks to the PTO, Chris Van Dusen delighted all of us with his fabulous books. We learned a lot about the art and craft writing and illustrating from him.  April promises to be just as busy as March. On Tuesday, April 1, the first grade students will perform ...
