Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is time to prepare for the end of the school year!  Amidst the many celebrations, we recently held the 52nd Robert Boyd Award ceremony and would like to congratulate senior Ben Cox-Faxon for this recognition.  This weekend, we look forward to Commencement Ceremonies on Sunday, June 9th to honor the Class of 2019.   A class photo will be taken on Thursday after marching practice; senior parents interested in purchasing photos should use this link.

For parents of students in grades 9 through 11, please take a few minutes to review the following information regarding final exams.

Finals- For the final days of school, we use a modified schedule for final exam/assessments final schedule link here.  Students are only required to be in school for their exams; if they have a study hall they can either go to the library, cafeteria, or they may go home.  Buses will be available to pick up students at the end of each day of finals, as well as the regularly scheduled 2:45 bus.

At the end of the year, we ask for your help in getting all textbooks, library books, athletic uniforms, and any other school-owned materials returned to the school.  In addition, please check the lost and found items; any remaining items will be donated to local charities.

Best regards,

Eric Klein & Amy Bongard - YHS Administrative Team
