Dear Parents and Guardians,

Today’s snow day provides provides a much-needed day of rest for those suffering from the recent bout of flu that has hit our schools.  Please note that all activities, practices, and rehearsals are cancelled this afternoon and evening due to the weather. Additionally, there are quite a few upcoming events.

End of the Semester - January 21st to January 24th.   We will use this schedule for next week’s classes, which will give students the opportunity - and extra time -  to work with teachers from noon until 2:45 each day. Please access this FAQ resource if you have questions.  If your child will need transportation when classes end at 11:30, please complete this survey by Monday, January 13th.

Extracurricular Eligibility - Academic eligibility for sports, debate, Playmakers, math team, and robotics is based on second quarter grades.  All quarter grades must be 70 or above in all classes for a student to participate. Academic eligibility for these activities is described in detail in our student handbook.  For seniors to earn or keep open campus academic eligibility, grades in all classes must be 80 or above for the quarter.  Check out this link for the specifics.  For students who are not academically eligible at the end of the quarter, the next time to gain full eligibility is on Friday, 3/6, the date of quarter 3 progress reports.
