Our 8th-grade Girls' Soccer team is engaged in a nail-biter with Cape Elizabeth today!


The HMS Football Team traveled to Greely today to take on the Rangers in a competitive game with stifling defenses!


Our fall athletic season is in full swing! Our 7th grade Boys' Soccer team is taking on Mt. Ararat today on Winslow Field. They are in mid-season form already!


The HMS Tennis Team is taking on Waynflete today at the high school courts. Go Clippers!


HMS has been named an Apple Distinguished School for 2024-2027! Many thanks to our staff for using technology in thoughtful ways that supports student learning and to Megan Rice, our Technology Integrator, for her work with our staff to learn the most effective uses of technology in the classroom.


This morning, our staff engaged in learning about developmental milestones for middle-level learners and then developed common expectations for our students in spaces throughout our building!

After a 5 year hiatus, our Young Athletes' Festival, put on in conjunction with Special Olympics Maine, was a big hit! The athletes had so much fun. Thank you to our 8th-grade student volunteers and our teachers for their efforts to make this meaningful community event a reality.

Many thanks to our wonderful Parent-Teacher Organization for the new soccer nets! The Yarmouth PTO kindly installed one of the nets over the weekend, and they will install the second net when our other goal returns from getting repaired. We love our PTO!
