Dear Rowe Families,
Thank you all so much for your support and positive feedback during this challenging time. We all miss the children dearly and are looking forward to brighter days ahead. In the meantime, I think we can all agree that the right steps have been taken to do what is in the best interest of the school and the community at large.
Attendance
Reporting of Illness
As is the procedure when we are at school, please email your child’s teacher and Amanda Murray at amanda_murray@yarmouthschools.org if your child is ill.
Work Completion
We understand that everyone is doing the best they can to help their children complete their work. Feel free to reach out to the classroom teacher if your child is having difficulty with any aspect of the assignments. Thank you for your efforts thus far during this closure!
Schoolwork and lessons on SeeSaw
There are assignments posted both on SeeSaw and on the menu of choices/ options you were provided by your child’s teacher. Please reach out directly to the teacher if you have specific questions or concerns.
Spring Break
Although schools will be closed through April 26th, we will still observe the spring break from Friday, April 17th - Sunday, April 26th. No distance learning will take place during that time frame.
I am having virtual meetings with grade-level teaching teams, the school counselor and social worker, the administrative team, and a variety of other employees across the district. We are in the process of planning for the coming month. Please reach out at any time if you need a device for your child or if you have any questions. I will be checking messages on the school answering machine daily and can be reached via email: susan_lobel@yarmouthschools.org
Sincerely,
Susan Lobel, Principal
