Dear Rowe Families,
I am writing to let you know that this afternoon we are sending the school iPads home in the event that we have a remote school day on Monday, January 23rd, due to inclement weather. Just to be clear, I am not saying we are having a remote snow day. That will be determined on Monday morning. If we have a snow day tomorrow, January 20th, there are no remote learning expectations. It will be a regular snow day that will be made up in June.
Students in kindergarten and first grade will arrive home with their iPads (to access Seesaw & Google Meets) and any other learning materials that teachers send with them. If you would like to log into Seesaw through a device other than the school iPad, I have attached those directions to my email. Please note: Pre-K students will not be bringing home devices but will have some tasks to do sent by their teachers.
On any Remote Snow Day we will email the attendance link to you that morning. Please complete the form to verify that your child is “in school” and engaged in their learning that day. This will be a new practice for Pre-K and kindergarten families who were not here last year. Note: iPads should not be used unless we have a remote snow day and should return with students on the next school day.
If your child is not in school today, remote school work will be available for pickup today in the main office at Rowe until 5:00 PM. You have likely already seen our message that went out to absent students earlier today. We ask that you contact the office in advance to arrange for pickup. Please do not email your child’s teacher, since they may not see it in a timely manner.

As always, if you have any questions please let me know.
