Yarmouth School Department has lost internet access due to a contractor on West Elm Street cutting a fiber cable. We will likely be without service for the day. If you are attempting to reach us through the internet, our response will be delayed.

Sunday's performances of "Almost, Maine" by the YHS Playmakers have been cancelled due to power outages, fallen trees around YHS, and dangerous sidewalk and parking lot conditions. We will keep you informed of any updates.

Captain's Crew is hosting a donation drive to support the efforts of Maine Needs! We are collecting diapers, wipes, books (new or gently used) and gift cards. They set a goal to collect 100 items. We are only half way through and we are already blown away by the generosity of our community! Thank you!
The seventh-grade class at Frank H. Harrison Middle School in Yarmouth is hosting a community blood drive on Wednesday, March 13 from 2:30-7:30 PM.

MONDAY, JANUARY 29: There will be a two-hour delay to the start of schools in Yarmouth. There will be no morning Pre-K. Buses will run two hours later than usual, and the school day will end at the regular time.

145 students and staff wore flannel today for Flannel Friday 3.0 in support of juvenile diabetes awareness! We hope all our Rowe families have a most wonderful long weekend!
Mighty Reader will visit each kindergarten classroom to inspire our young readers as they start their journey toward becoming Super Readers. Mighty Reader will remind students of one superpower they already have, Pointer Power, or the ability to give each word on the page one tap. Mighty Reader will leave behind a special tool for their next reading superpower, Slider Power. Slider power is the ability to slide through the sounds of a word and blend them back together.
Students in Ms. Stewart's class engaged in a "writing museum" today where they all had the opportunity to check out and compliment their class-mates' writing!
