PreK, Kindergarten, and First Grade have all kicked off their learning about our Core Values: Safe, Kind, Helpful and Polite, during their September grade level community meetings!

Yarmouth Police report that they have successfully located the student who was reported as missing. All is well, and we thank everyone for their attention to this matter.

Yarmouth Police are asking for information anyone may have to help them locate Ana Sarna, a local 13-year-old who was last seen around 5:00 p.m. riding her black Huffy bicycle, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Ana is 5'2" and 130lbs. Anyone with any information is asked to call 846-3333 immediately. For a picture of Ana, please view the YPD Facebook page.

Yarmouth School Department has lost internet access due to a contractor on West Elm Street cutting a fiber cable. We will likely be without service for the day. If you are attempting to reach us through the internet, our response will be delayed.

Kindergarteners in Ms. Miedema's class are working hard on representing numbers with base-10!

First graders in Ms. Berry's class were excited to share how they are studying the water cycle and what they have learned!

Sunday's performances of "Almost, Maine" by the YHS Playmakers have been cancelled due to power outages, fallen trees around YHS, and dangerous sidewalk and parking lot conditions. We will keep you informed of any updates.

Spirit week is next week! Captain's Crew did a fantastic job designing a fun spirit week for Rowe School!

ALERT UPDATE: The young ladies who were reported missing earlier this evening have been located and are now returning safely to their families. Thank you all for your concern and assistance.

First Graders are kicking off their poetry unit with hearing some great poems their teachers just happened to have in their pockets!

Captain's Crew is hosting a donation drive to support the efforts of Maine Needs! We are collecting diapers, wipes, books (new or gently used) and gift cards. They set a goal to collect 100 items. We are only half way through and we are already blown away by the generosity of our community! Thank you!

The seventh-grade class at Frank H. Harrison Middle School in Yarmouth is hosting a community blood drive on Wednesday, March 13 from 2:30-7:30 PM. Mrs. Backman, a leader in our community, came to talk to Captain's Crew this week about how Maine Needs helps connect people in our community with things they need! We are excited for this Crew to share with you more about their project soon!
